How long will my meals last for?
Zen Tea ready-made meals have an average shelf life of up to 14 days in the fridge, thanks to MAP (modified atmosphere packaging) technology. Eat within 5 days for maximum freshness! Always check the Use By date before consumption.
Can I freeze my meals?
You can definitely freeze our meals if you'd like to eat them later. They would last for 6 months stored in the freezer, but freezing does alter their quality and they may not be in their best state. Reheating times would differ after freezer storage.
Do you have any options for low carb, vegan or larger appetites?
We try our best to cater to as many diets and appetites as possible, to ensure you have a diverse range to enjoy. You can check out our Vegan, Meat or Seafood options, and choose between low carb or large sizing, on the dish's detail page.
What if I have food allergies?
Please check the label or the dish details on our website for warnings and ingredients. Our chefs do take the utmost care to keep allergy-prone ingredients out of certain meals. However, there may still be traces and cross contamination, as our meals are produced in the same kitchen.

Can I recycle the packaging?
Yes! Our meal sleeves are made from recyclable cardboard, and plastic meal trays are recyclable at home. Plastic film used to our trays can be recycled at soft plastics recycling points (e.g. most major supermarkets).

Our charity thrives off feedback to continually improve our womens' skills and confidence, and so we can keep you, our customers, at your happiest. You can access our short customer satisfaction survey to tell us what we're doing right, wrong or what else you want to see us doing. We take all feedback into account!

How much is delivery?
Delivery costs $8 per order, for orders under $89. Orders over $89 come with free delivery.
When do I have to place my orders by (cut off time/day)?
Orders will need to be placed by Friday midday, so we can ensure your meals are ready to be picked up or delivered on Monday after 2pm.
How can I pick up my order directly from Zen Tea Lounge Foundation?
Yes, we love to take care of our regular and local customers. If you are able to come and pick up your food, your order will be ready by 2pm Monday. You can pick up from our restaurant at 15/108 Percival Road, Smithfield, NSW 2164. Please show your email confirmation to our staff when collecting your order.
When will I get my delivery or be able to pick up my meals?
We deliver on Mondays between 2pm-midnight, so you'll receive your order then, placed on your front porch or somewhere accessible and weather-proof on your property.
Alternatively, you can pick up from our restaurant.
How much is the minimum spend for free delivery?
There is a minimum spend of $89 before free delivery can be attained. We will automatically remove delivery costs in checkout if your cart is over $89.
How much is the minimum for an order to be placed?
There is a minimum spend of $50 for delivery orders.
I am having trouble with checking out, what is another method I can put my order through?
We're sorry you're having problems with our site. Please click here to send us your order and make payment via facebook messenger inbox or our instagram instead. You can simply send us a screenshot of your cart, and someone will take your order there.
I put in the wrong address for delivery, can I change it?
Please call our team on 0406018444 as soon as possible, and we will do our best to make the changes for you.

How can I recycle the materials my food came in?
The cardboard box our orders come in is 100% recyclable cardboard, so you can fold it up and pop it in your recycling bin at home. When it comes to the bubble wrap lining, you can re-purpose it, or drop it at any soft plastics recycling point (most major supermarkets have this near the checkout for you to recycle plastic shopping bags).
You can re-use the ice packs in your lunch boxes to keep lunches cool! Alternatively, we'd love for you to donate tham back to Zen Tea, please leave them in front of your house. Our courier will pick them up.
I didn't receive what I ordered, or am unsatisfied with my order. What can I do?
For any delivery or meal issues / feedback, please call our customer service team on 0406018444 or send us an email via enquiries@zentealounge.com.au within 7 days of receiving your order. Photos of the meal and / or delivery are needed to assist us in our investigation.
